Samurai is using NC modified acrylic resin. This NC modified acrylic resin makes Samurai different from all the other brands in the market today and gives it strength in quality.

If unused, all Samurai paints can be stored for years without being expired. For Samurai 2K paints, once the chemicals have been mixed, the 2K01 top clear coat should be used within 4 hours and the 2K04, 2K05 and 2K06 surfacers should be used within 24 hours. As for the other Samurai paints, once used, they can be kept for years.

Most Samurai Paint products can withstand up to 190°C. Samurai hi-temp paint can withstand approximately 600°C.

1K describes a coating that does not require a hardener, catalyst or activator. It dries or cures on its own. 2K describes a coating that needs to be mixed with hardener before being used or applied. 2K is generally more durable and is especially suitable for topcoat applications.

One can may be able to cover between 1sqm and 3sqm. The difference depends on the skill of the painter, number of layers, thickness of each layer and the colour selected.

This depends on the motorcycle model and the parts being painted. For fairings only, typical models may require approximately 2–3 cans of 400ml paint. Actual usage depends on the painter's skill and wastage.

Samurai recommends not mixing its products with other brands. Samurai's stronger paint adhesion can cause the underlying paint from another brand to react, resulting in biting.

Yes. Samurai can be used on materials such as fiber glass. Sand the surface, use 2K04 Surfacer Primer, apply Samurai colour and finish with 2K01 Top Clear Coat for best results.

Yes. Apply 2KPP plastic primer to the chrome finished item, dry under hot sun for 30–60 minutes, then sand to P320 before applying the spray paint.

Samurai formulation is specifically intended for motorcycle applications and is not recommended for wooden furniture. If spraying on wood, the wood should first be processed with wood putty or filler before following the regular procedures.
