Everything you need to know about SAMURAI paint.

Samurai uses NC modified acrylic resin. This NC modified acrylic resin makes Samurai different from other brands in the market today and gives it strength in quality.
If unused, all Samurai paints can be stored for years without expiring. For Samurai 2K paints, once the chemicals have been mixed, the 2K01 top clear coat should be used within 4 hours, while the 2K04, 2K05 and 2K06 surfacers should be used within 24 hours. Other Samurai paints, once used, can be kept for years.
Most Samurai Paint products can withstand temperatures up to 190°C. The hi-temp paint can withstand a much higher temperature of approximately 600°C.
1K describes a coating that does not require a hardener, catalyst or activator. It is a single-component paint that dries or cures on its own. 2K describes a coating that needs to be mixed with a hardener before use. 1K is quicker to apply and dries faster, while 2K is generally more durable and is especially suitable for topcoat applications.
One can may cover approximately 1sqm – 3sqm. Coverage depends on the painter's skill, number of layers, thickness of each layer and the selected color. Lighter colors may have lower opacity.
This depends on the motorcycle model and the parts being painted. For fairings only, typical models such as XMAX, Raiders and Mlcg may require approximately 2–3 cans of 400ml paint. Actual usage depends on painting skill and wastage.
We recommend not mixing Samurai with other brands because Samurai has strong paint adhesion. Applying Samurai over another brand's paint may cause the underlying paint to react or "bite."
Yes. Samurai can be used on materials such as fiberglass. Sand the surface, apply 2K04 Surface Primer, apply the Samurai color and finish with 2K01 Top Clear Coat for the best results.
Yes. Apply 2KPP Plastic Primer to the chrome-finished item, dry it under hot sun for 30–60 minutes, then sand to P320 before spray painting.
Samurai formulation is specifically designed for motorcycles, so it is not recommended for surfaces such as wooden furniture. If spraying on wood, the wood should first be processed with wood putty or filler before following the regular painting procedure.
