Everything you need to know about SAMURAI spray paint.

Samurai uses NC modified acrylic resin. This NC modified acrylic resin makes Samurai different from other brands in the market and gives it strength in quality.
If unused, all Samurai paints can be stored for years without expiring. For Samurai 2K paints, once the chemicals have been mixed, the 2K01 top clear coat should be used within 4 hours, while the 2K04, 2K05 and 2K06 surfacers should be used within 24 hours. Other Samurai paints can be kept for years once used.
Most Samurai Paint products can withstand temperatures up to 190°C. The hi-temp paint can withstand a much higher temperature, approximately 600°C.
1K describes a coating that does not require a hardener, catalyst or activator. It is a single-component paint that dries or cures on its own.

2K describes a coating that needs to be mixed with a hardener before use. 1K is quicker and easier to apply, while 2K provides greater durability and is especially suitable for topcoats. With the Samurai 2K Aerosol System, you can achieve professional-quality results.
One can may cover between 1sqm and 3sqm. Coverage depends on the painter's skill, number of layers, thickness of each layer and the selected colour. Lighter colours may have lower opacity.
It depends on the motorcycle model and the areas being painted. For fairings only, typical models such as XMAX, Raiders and Mlcg may require approximately 2–3 cans of 400ml paint. Actual usage also depends on the painter's skill and experience.
We recommend not using Samurai together with other brands because Samurai's paint adhesion is stronger. Applying Samurai over another brand may cause the underlying paint to react, resulting in what is known as biting.
Yes. Samurai can be used on materials such as fiber glass. Sand the surface, apply 2K04 Surface Primer, apply the Samurai colour and finish with 2K01 Top Clear Coat for best results.
Yes. Apply 2KPP Plastic Primer to the chrome-finished item, allow it to dry under hot sun for 30–60 minutes, then sand to P320 before spray painting.
Samurai formulation is specifically intended for motorcycles, so it is not recommended for surfaces such as wooden furniture. If spraying on wood, the wood should first be processed with wood putty or filler before following the regular painting procedure.
