Samurai is using NC modified acrylic resin. This NC modified acrylic resin makes Samurai different from all the other brands in the market today and gives it strength in quality.

If unused, all Samurai paints can be stored for years without being expired. For Samurai 2K paints, once the chemicals have been mixed, the 2K01 top clear coat should be used within 4 hours and the 2K04, 2K05 and 2K06 surfacers should be used within 24 hours. Other Samurai paints, once used, can be kept for years.

Most Samurai Paint products can withstand up to 190°C. Samurai Hi-Temp paint can withstand a much higher temperature, approximately 600°C.

1K is a coating that does not require a hardener, catalyst or activator. It is a single-component paint that dries or cures on its own.

2K describes a coating that needs to be mixed with hardener before application. 1K generally dries faster and is easier to apply, while 2K is more durable and is especially suitable for topcoat applications.

One can may be able to cover between 1sqm and 3sqm of area. Coverage depends on the painter's skill, number of layers, thickness of each layer and the color selected. Lighter colors may have lower opacity.

This depends on the motorcycle model and which parts are being painted. For fairings only, typical models such as XMAX, Raiders and Mlcg may require approximately 2–3 cans of 400ml paint. Actual usage depends on painting skill and wastage.

We recommend that you do not use Samurai with other brands because Samurai's paint adhesion is stronger compared with other brands. Using Samurai over another brand may cause the underlying paint to react or "bite".

Yes. Samurai can be used on materials such as fiber glass. For best results, sand the surface, apply 2K04 Surfacer primer, apply the Samurai color and finish with 2K01 Top Clear Coat.

Yes. Apply 2KPP plastic primer to the chrome-finished item, dry under hot sun for 30–60 minutes, then sand to P320 before spray painting.

Samurai formulation is specifically designed for motorcycle applications, so it is not recommended for surfaces such as wooden furniture. If spraying on wood, the wood should first be processed with wood putty or filler before following the regular painting procedure.
